Face Masks & Peels

Favorite masks my face can't live without!!!

Who doesn't want great skin?
We all know even using the best kind of products on our face isn't going to just make us wake up to a different face, but it can definitely help!
I have crazy oily skin which probably explains my large pores. I have found that keeping up with a skin routine and using certain products a few times a week has made a huge difference!!

Now these are just the masks I rotate using (this is not my only skin care routine!)
I try using them between 2-3 times a week.

Botanics: Conditioning Clay Mask
This is my #1 fav! Really does exactly what it said it will.

This rick clay mask exhibits a negative electrical charge to attract deep-rooted impurities from the skin without drying. Apply to cleaned face and leave on for 10-20 minutes. Then rinse off with warm water.

Just a tip: When you put this on make sure you try no to move your face the whole time its on because it can mold the mask to your facial expression, its pretty crazy lol =)

Soup & Glory: Scrub Your Nose In It
Love anything Soap & Glory puts out! I was so disappointed when Target stopped carrying it, but very excited to know that Sephora just started!!!

A multi-tasking scrub and mask marvel. A simple solution for large pores and clogging. Helps refine large pores and prevent blemishes. Special fruit acid formula leaves skin looking brighter and more radiant!!
Apply a pea size dollop into a damp t-zone.Massage gently in circular motion. Leave on for 5 minutes for a mask or just rinse off.

This mask isn't as strong as the first one so I would totally recommend this one for girls who are just trying out masks for the first time.

Lush: Ayesha
I love this one because it's natural and handmade.

Absorbent clays, nutritious asparagus, vitamin rich fresh kiwi, as well as superbly effective elderflower, all help to rejuvenate, relax, and refresh tired skin. Leave on for 5-10 minutes, then rinse away with warm water.

Just a tip: This mask must stay chilled. So don't forget to put it in the refrigerator.

Elizabeth Arden: Peel & Reveal
Every time I use this product I feel like I'm at a spa!

It retexturizes and exfoliates as it minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines. Skin is soft, smooth, visibly firm and revitalized!!

Feel free to leave comments, i'd love to hear from you!!

The cult of Shamballa

'Open your mind and let it smile, like the lotus opens its petals to the heavens. Shed your fear, hate and envy and experience the rejuvenating smile of happiness.' That is the spirit of Shamballa Jewels.
When Mads Kornerup opened his first jewellery shop on Rue de Sevigne, Paris, in 1994 he had no idea it marked the beginning of a jewellery flair that  would lead to the international jewellery success Shamballa Jewels.

Shamballa Jewels have a holistic spirit and look that I would describe as discretely chic and expensive. Shamballa is worn by A-list celebrities and available in excluisve departments stores such as Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus and Harrods. Each piece is hand made and a privilage to wear. A story tells of a doorman who let a man enter one of New York’s finer establishments because he spotted  that he was wearing a Shamballa bracelet. He thought he must be someone worthy to enter. We have been given the privilage to get more of an insight of the brand from Mads Kornerups assistant, Caroline, of Shamballa Jewels.

lush lush lush and more lush =)

Its the littlest things that make me smile!!

I swear just walking into a Lush Store makes me instantly happy  =)
Here's a few of the things I picked up and got as a gift:

The first lil guy on the left is called The Ex-Factor

Love doesn't even factor into it

While it has the cute blue colour of a Smurf, there's nothing quite so sweet about Ex Factor. Its musky, creamy scent and dissolvable limbs make for a wickedly fun bath, where you can fizz away appendages and head until your thirst for revenge has been satisfied.

The next Rainbow one is my all time fav bubble bar called Dorothy

Any friend of Dorothy's is a friend of ours.
We're taking you far from the rain and grey clouds to somewhere over the rainbow. Your bath-water will be as blue as the skies over munchkinland and the exotic scent of ylang and sweet figs will make you want to go skipping off to see the wizard.

Froggy Froggy: Next we have Leap Frog

Someday, your prince will come.

Another magical creation by Michelle, The Frog Prince is an extremely handsome and regal frog with a pair of vibrantly red and kissable lips. Give him a quick peck, drop him in the tub and wait for your prince to come.

The next orange bubble bars are called Yuzu and Cocoa

Inspired by the unusual Japanese fruit the yuzu (kind of like a Satsuma orange), this Bubbleroon has a delectable orange chocolate fragrance. It makes mountains of fluffy white bubbles and the most supremely soft bath water. With Extra Virgin coconut oil and Fair Trade Shea Butter (like all of our Bubbleroons) Yuzo and Cocoa is the crème de la crème of chocolatey and moisturizing baths. Chocolate lovers will delight in this delectable, gourmet treat for the skin.

The next heart shaped is a message bar called Heavanilla!!

Delicious Vanilla Fountain fragrance harnessed in a bar.

This deliciously fragrant bar melts onto the skin with ease, creating a sweetly sensual, tactile experience. The natural shea and cocoa butters smell of jasmine, vanilla and tonka and will make you irresistible to your masseuse. It contains Simon's beautiful Vanillary fragrance.
A relaxing vanilla massage.
The fragrance is restful and gentle and encourages a relaxing massage experience.

Last we have the Sex Bomb!!

Contains jasmine absolute, one of Mother Nature's most potent and seductive aphrodisiacs.

Jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang to make you feel like a lover. The power of these aphrodisiac oils lies in their ability to relax you at the same time as warming your heart and other body parts. The ancient perfumers of the Mediterranean knew a thing or two about lurve and we're using the methods they used thousands of years ago for the same results.
