Hair Chalking

Does your hair need a change?
How cool would it be to add color with out the damage?
 Now you can!!
This is the fun and creative way of switching this up!! Just in time for summer too!!

WHAT YOU NEED:
1. Soft Pastel Chalks
Stay Away from Oil Pastels!!!
2. Water
3. Protective Gloves
4. Flat iron or curling iron to seal in the color

Check out some of this videos with instructions!!!

Here's a Few Tips:
*The chalk might come off on your shirt-try not to wear white or do this on a rainy day
*Do not brush your hair too much after you chalk, it will come off on your brush and get everywhere.
*Do NOT put any wax, styling creams or anything on the "chalked hair" as it will make a huge, greasy mess!
*Don't forget to condition your hair after you was the chalk out because it is very drying.
*If any chalk comes off on your flat iron or curling iron, it wipes off easily.

For all my Moms out there!

For all the Moms out there

This post is a little bit different then any of my others. Considering 3 of my friends are pregnant and glowing, I decided to do a post aimed towards them and all the other baby bumps out there.

DIY Baby Wipes
They are very simple to make and cheap. You need a 3 quart container that has a lid, bounty paper towels, baby oil, baby soap and water. Cut the paper towel roll in half. Remove the cardboard from the center. Put the roll into your container. Mix 1 Tbs. baby oil, 1 tsp. baby soap, and 2 Cups water together. Pour the mixture over the paper towels and you have wipes. They actually work very well. I decided to fancy my container up a little bit because I was bored yesterday and I glued the recipe to the back so that I always know where it is.

DIY Butterfly Mobile

What a great baby shower gift!! Instead of butterflies you can use truck or cars for the boys!!

Top Bronzers

 My Bronzed Goddesses

I know I haven't been blogging in a while and I'm so sorry. If I could blog all day trust me I would, but life gets in the way! I get a lot of questions about what are my favorite bronzers I use. Typically I don't wear foundation because I just don't feel like I need it, so I'll put bronzer on my whole face and contour my cheeks with a darker bronzer. I've never been a fan of shimmery/glittery bronzers but I think as long as they are used in moderation to brighten and lighten then it's ok.

Physician Formula
There's are by far my favorite bronzers! They are so affordable and provide great coverage and color. I love how they have so many different shades and styles, there's one to fit any skin tone!
Here are just a few of my favorites!
$10-$15

Nars-Casino
This bronzer is great because of the color! It's a dark brown with a hint of shimmer which is great in the summer. I use this for contouring year round.
$34

Benefit- Hoola
This powder is like Barbados in a box! Sweep Hoola across the chin, cheeks, and forehead with the accompanying brush for a healthy. Completely Matte!!
