March Favorites!

Hello loves! 

So about a month ago I went on one of my shopping trips to Ulta. I wanted to wait before posting a review on the products to make sure I really love them before recommending them to you. These products have easily become my absolute favorites! 

Lashes Lashes

Ardell Double Lashes in #203

Who doesn't want full long lashes? Yes these are a little bit dramatic but perfect for a night out. I totally recommend there's for a special occasion that you're going to have lots of pictures taken. These will make your eyes look amazing in photos. 

Eos-Honeydew

 Yummmmy! Smells so good I just to eat it! And makes your lips super soft! 

Too Faced Natural Face 

Okay so when I walked into Ulta I went in looking for a concealer palette. I asked around and of course they didn't have any, but she directed me towards a few other concealers they had. I found this and wasn't really sure about it because I figured I'd never use the other products it came with. After playing around with that I totally love it! Make your skin look bright and glowy without all the shimmer. Perfect for any skin tone!

Spring, Im waiting for you!

I'm so excited for spring!

 One of the easiest ways for us to create a look is to change our nails! 

Spring and Summer colors are so much fun! They can instantly put a smile on your face!

I wanted to change things up a bit and add some more life to my nails.

 I wanted something colorful and this is what I came up with!

1.) Your going to want to start with a clear base coat.

2.) Paint your entire nails with a white polish.

3.) Using a long thin design brush polish (like below) 

 Start drawing C's almost like a circle but not connecting two ends

4.) Draw a few more of those "not connected" circles and add a dot to any empty space

5.) Choose some bright colors =) 

6.) Add one dot of any color to the middle of the "not circles" C's then finish with a top clear coat

 

Your look is complete!

Giuseppe Zanotti Heel-Less Shoes

Ummmm REALLY??

I love them! I do, I do, I do!!! But the question is can I walk in them?? 

How the hell does anyone walk in them??
So I totally youtubed it and ya people do walk in them but I can't imagine it being easy.

After doing some research on these shoes ( because I'm weird like that I guess) I came across the designer Giuseppe Zanotti. His is the creator of the 70's African inspired shoes pictured above.

I found his story to be very interesting and inspiring because he launched his company in 1993 and not even 10 years later he has boutiques in Milan, New York, Paris, London, and Dubai.

"His creations are true to his initial inspirations, where art and music are essential feelings to be turned into style for our feet… feet that Zanotti does not want to cover with models, but rather to adorn out of regard for a woman’s beauty and for the world revolving around her."

Pucker Up Baby

All Natural Homemade Lip Scrub

Hey everyone, I wanted to share with you this 

homemade lip scrub recipe I've been using for a long time now.

I have the worst habit of biting my lips and especially when they are dry(awful in the winter) peeling the chapped skin off. I'm always searching for anything to help heal and beautify my lips.If your a lipstick junkie, use the scrub before you apply your lipstick to help hold color longer.

This scrub works wonders!! 

What you'll need:

Small Empty container

1 Tablespoon of  Petroleum Jelly

1 tablespoon of Sugar

1 tablespoon of Salt

Its as easy as just mixing all the ingredient together in the container! 

What you'll  want to do is scrub some of this bad boy on your lips before bed (or whenever you want super soft kissable lips). Rub your lips together for about one minute. Then rinse the scrub off with warm water. Finish it off with some conditioning lip balm and your done.

If you rather just buy a scrub here are some similar products, but my opinion is the homemade scrub works just as good if not better!!

My New Lover Michael

Yes, that's right Michael Kors is indeed my new lover! 

I always go through my little phases of brands that I get obsessed over and lately Michael Kors has been blowing me away!! Michael has been making his mark in the fashion world for quite some time now but it wasn't until recently his designs have been catching my eye! The brand itself started off targeting more of an older crowd and has been trying to change its image for some time now!
And I think they have succeeded!

I'm so curious to get everyone's opinion on this new trend.

Pointy nails aka Stiletto Nails

I think the first person I seen with this trend was Lady GaGa and I'm def not taking any beauty or fashion tips from her, but since then others like Fergie and Rihanna have been rocking this!!

Totally not loving this at first!! 

Way to freakish for me, all I could think of is "I don't want to look like Lady Gaga"!!! 

I think the nails shape itself is already so dramatic that there is no need to as more attention to it.

I think as long as your stick to a simple color and length it can actually look nice and chic!!

I would love to try something like this!!

Even keeping it safe with a simple color I still think this look isn't for everyone.

If your going to rock the nails you need the attitude that goes along with it!!!
